I just finished, Inside the Hermit Kingdom and, folks, it's a brilliant read.

It's been mentioned already in this thread - but to re-cap. It's a portrait of the two Koreas from the perspective a Korean-Canadian journalist and it's the most revealing and damning thing i've read about this country.

It cuts through a lot shit that ex-pats on this board know little about - and yet gab about for months - and gives a insider and outsider perspective all at once.
