Daily exercise, followed by bathing, can also help to eliminate the need for deodorant - it helps clean out your pores and eliminates stress, both of which can contribute to body odor.
People with normal western eating and bathing habits, slathered in deodorant and other perfumed products generally have a much more offensive odor than the worst of the non-deodorant wearing foreign and Korean individuals I've met here. |
I generally try to use this approach to everything related to health in life. Instead of taking a statin, for example, reduce risk of atherosclerosis with exercise, sunlight, and diet. Instead of putting creams all over my face for acne, eliminate the foods that caused acne in the first place.
I also rarely and sparingly use soap on my face. According to the logic of many here, I must have facial acne, just like I must stink because I don't use deodorant.
There are other ways of dealing with health problems that address the root cause. Throwing a bandaid over the surface of a problem is not the only way to solve it. |
