Though, I'd read another account of someone else being killed by a mudslide that crushed their house, so it may be 3 dead.

However, it was the 200mm/hour that made this quite damaging.
Originally this was projected to pass directly over Seoul. Luckily it turned south a bit after hitting land and Seoul didn't get the direct dump. It rain for something like 10 hours up here, if we'd gotten 200mm/hr for a significant portion of that, there would have been some major flooding, I would expect the subways would have been shut down in places.

I think it is funny that Korea is probably the only country in the world that still eats SPAM. It is even funnier when Koreans don't realize exactly why junk email has been labelled SPAM.
