I know people who know him and he's told them he is Koharski. Another one of the mods is a long time member too but he hardly seems to be around these days. |
ha ha ha ha ha that's hilarious! You really dug that one out of the archives and dusted it off. You also added pure fiction. On that I congratulate you, it was interesting.
Just to help you out.
I am not a mod.
I was a mod in the early 2000s (handle: thedude) so maybe that can help your narrative.
No one here, mod or other, knows me or met me. Anyone who says they do is lying. That means you just made shit up fezmond.
However, feel free to keep pounding that drum if it helps your narrative. |

Unfortunate use of terminology!
However, there is a backlash in response to recent Japanese moves to change their military posture. This is less due to what Japan will actually do with its military than with what Japan still has not done when it comes to atrocities committed in Asia during the first half of the 20th century.
The backlash is expected and Asian nations may band together to express it. In a sense it could be seen as an "anti Japan" coalition of sorts. |

I wonder if Korea will ever apologize to Japan for their actions in more recent years? Or has that been left out of the textbooks?

That emoticon means "yes, you've got the right idea". So, he did answer your question. |

Korea needs to grow up and get over this whole Japan thing. Europe has left its past conflicts in the past. Why can't Korea do the same? |

They so desperately want some apology from Japan that will shame them in the international media.
In my view, Japan owes them nothing.

Because Germany has done a much better job to atone for their past, and because Japanese politicians do things to negate the apologies. The Germans crack down on any Nazi symbols. So maybe if the Japanese would crack down on that Imperial flag, it would be a sign. Also, they can lay off the Dokdo issue. Just ignore it and punish any loose cannon Japanese politicians that stoke the fires with their anti-Korean rhetoric. Also, sitting prime ministers need to stop going to the Yasukuni Shrine.
And it's not only Korea, the Chinese use anti-Japanese sentiment to their advantage too. Simplest thing is just ignore it, no need to have a pissing contest with war ships. And crack down on any hint of controversial symbols referring to the past.
A lot of this would have been solved if MacArthur would have actually acknowledged the Japanese emperor when he was ready to apologize for Japan's war-time actions. |

Yes, since the Euro crisis has started there has been a complete and utter lack of politicians using Nazi references when mentioning Germany and austerity. |

Typical. Blame it on the USA and Japan. |
