That one's an L1 issue. In Korean "to play" is ���, and its perfectly acceptable to use it when talking about hanging out with your friends. In a way the problem is with English, not Korean; the word has a straightforward meaning in Korean, but has evolved into a more restricted meaning in everyday English (only children "play"). |
