You spend far too much time observing the behavior of others and looking for bad things in it. Instead focus on your baby and on your own life.
I walk around with my 3 month old son (my wife is Korean) and I have had zero problems. If some idiot is going to stare from afar and judge, what do I care? That is his or her problem. However, I don't go a look for meaning in every glance or stare because that is fruitless and a waste of time.
As for our experiences as new parents, they have been nothing but positive. People love children here. When I walk around I get smiles and kindness. Funny how that works. |

Please, spare me the preaching. I'm just pointing out the few instances where people get on my nerve, essentially when it's hard not to observe their misbehavior because they are intruding my personal space. If you met me, you'd know I couldn't care less about what ignorant strangers think. |

I never thought this was RACISM... I thought it was because Koreans killed off so many of their girl babies that they expect the survivors to do a national service, alleviating the shortage of wives for Korean boys. Sort of a patriotic thing. |
