ps. Never read Harry Potter, but I like Star Wars.

Boring article... and not even new. I read something along the same lines 3 years ago in Slate when Episode II came out (though the Slate article was a little lighter on the psycho-babble).

Not happy about all the romantic blah blah...

Would have been great if there was more action and less talk - so many conspiracies... or talk of conspiracies... and we could have done without the many small irrelevant stories (or are they irrelevant?) eg Tonks, Lupin, Fleur etc

There was almost nothing about Voldemort (didn't even make an appearance), and the deather eaters only appeared once right at the end, and we didnt follow the fight anyway.

I heard someone was going to die and after reading the 2nd chapter (?) I thought it would be Snape! My big elaborate idea was that Snape would die for not fulfilling the Unbreakable Vow, and seeing as he failed, the 'bonder' would also die (Bellatrix). So in one big go, he would save harry/dumbledore, kill Bellatrix and sacrifice himself all in one - thus prooving to harry and everyone else that he was in fact trustworthy...

But I was wrong.

So, since when does dumbledore beg??? Surely some kind of hoax in front of the death eaters? Perhaps he sacrificed himself knowing he will live on in a painting in his office? Anyway, he cant be gone for good...

I really enjoyed reading this book - am a big Harry Potter fan but I guess I was just a bit dissapointed... It surely was a decent sized book but not too much seemed to happen...

I dunno.... not entirely satisfied.... I hope the next is better!! Being the big finale and all...
