People who think Adam Sandler is funny.
People who give a lot of unsolicited advice
People who hate religion and/or religious people
People who are condescending
People who always talk like they know what they're talking about because they just read an article about the topic somewhere.

extremely polite people who are only happy if other people are happy. Pretty much amounts to having no personality of their own. A little politeness goes a long way but too much politeness just fucks me off.

That and arrogant pretentious fucks

You can learn a lot from self-improvement books!

bah! no way! anyone who bought those at the bookstore i worked at were looked down upon. i am too cynical for that 'empowerment' bullsshhit.

Who said anything about "empowerment"? There are a lot of good books about making money and picking up chicks, you know the important things. There are probably good health and fitness books in that section, too, though I've never checked. ;)

ok...fitness and health were under 'fitness and health' at my store...the ones i hate are the ones that are 'empower yourself!' 'live your greatst life now!'...just corny b.s. from some buck toothed 'author' with a mail order phd.

i am not familiar with the picking up people books, but i remember once this ugly chick came to my cash register to return a book. I asked her what was wrong with it.
"It didn't work!" she said.

* people who talk excessively about themselves yet don't ask you anything. Recently, a woman (foreigner) asked me "do you remember me telling you my Grandfather is Japanese?". You expect me to remember a detail like that when I hardly know you? Get out of here!

* I don't like snobs (liberal snobs being by far the worst) and why is it that those professing to be liberal are often those least able to tolerate an opposing viewpoint? Bloody morons.

* Miserable ba5tards. Cheer up for f_ck's sake!

Woah! I'm on a roll....

* people from minorities or indigenous populations who make a big deal about it. For example, people who go on about being native American, as though that's fascinating. I'm sorry, it's not. It's about as interesting as my arse.

Shocked What? You've had your arse violated for centuries? Maybe that explains the avatar. Sad

white dudes who say "I'M RICK JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMES, B*TCH!!!" when they're drunk, as if being drunk was an excuse for being a dong huffer.

you aren't rick james. you aren't cool. you're wearing a trucker cap and you don't know that you need to shut up, and that's unfortunate.

dudes who wear cowboy hats but don't ride horses to work. what a copout.

dudes who wear harley shirts but drive cars. another copout.

dudes who wear "independent truck company" shirts but have never skateboarded, in fact they used to beat up skateboarders in high school because skaters were f*gs.

yeah. just a few. jagoffs. they need to be euthanized.

People who land in a new country and start acting snobby. I see this mostly in Korea and Japan.

They even adopt the habits of that country that would get them beaten up quick-time in their own country.....

Must've been one of those coincidences where a five paragraph post immediately precedes your comment about posts longer than four paragraphs...

1. People who complain just to complain
2. People who gossip and talk about others (aka me)
3. People who are rude and unkind to others when its uncalled for
4. People who are deceptive, manipulative, liars or just overall fake.

I'm hearing you on that one. I wanna say STFU already! Especially those nobs who say "I'm _______-American." as if anybody overseas is going to take that into account.

* I did have one happy experience playing the minority card. Long ago, back in my hogwon era, I had this ignorant, arrogant, verbally abusive, uber PC roommate. We nearly came to blows. One day, during a normal conversation with this idiot, I let on that, as a matter of fact, one of my great great grandmothers was Algonquin Indian.

That got him off my back instantly. Suddenly I was this exotic warrior chief or medicine man. Everything I said contained some nugget of wisdom. He was falling all over himself. He couldn't get in enough compliments about the Native American this and Native American that. "I prefer 'Indian', if you don't mind. Fewer syllables." What a dork!

I make nothing of the Indian part my ancestry because it is so miniscule. And I have met some folks who like to play theirs up. You're white, shutup! But I will use it on nimrods like this if I have to.

People who are proud and think they are smart. Who, in line with this, supporting this, are compelled to underestimate those around them.

Angry people...

I got my own issues as a person (who doesn't, right?)... but I know for a fact that my life as a white, American man is downright cushy compared to a vast majority of people in the world. I try to keep this in mind when dealing with the annoyances and aggravations that crop up during life here in Korea.

Other people, however, seem unable to keep some perspective when dealing with the most trivial "roadblocks" in life. Take one of my co-workers, for instance, a man who lets loose with histrionic sighs and cursing because, get this, he's having trouble getting his indentations to match up on MS Word. Calling him the world's angrist typist, he tells me that I would be angry as well in the same situation. So I'm thinking... yea, child abuse, poverty, North Korean gulags, and sloppy indentation... all things that make my blood boil.

A little bit of persepctive goes a long way in making "problems" go away...
