We had one at 2 o'clock. I was late for work and then i ahd to sit on the bus for 15 minutes.
I thought the president was coming. It was a bit bizarre. |

Yeah I heard the one yesterday.
My kids are like: North Korea is attacking uijongbu.
I was: they would be sending missles and jets over this way too!
The kids start laughing. What a crazy class that was. They thought it was funny to joke about. |

| I live in Gimhae, just north of Busan, not far from the airport. I heard them too, at around two o'clock. I was at home on my computer. They were longer than the usual tests I've heard around here (rarely). A couple minutes later, I heard some jet helicopters scream through here. Scared the shite out of me. Jet helicopters come through here all the time, as with other military aircraft, but this one was really moving. It sounded like two commercial aircraft were flying low as well. It didn't sound good, that's for sure. Minutes later, the sirens started up again. I looked outside and saw people looking uncomfortable and hurrying about. I got the video camera out and was shaking so bad, I could barely find a spot to record this in case things really got going. But, by the time I found some free space on my tape, the sirens had stopped. No more jet helicopters. I finally relaxed. |

I wonder. The drill took place one hour later. . .you know, usually there is some notice that these drills will occur. Not only that, they are invariably on Tuesdays, at least in Seoul. |

Dogbert's right. Also, they usually happen on the 15th, 16th or 17th of the month, mid-week, and those white flags line the main thoroughfares for a few days beforehand for warning. Yesterday's was unusual. |

| What time did it happen in Seoul. I just want to know where I was so I can figure out why I didn't hear it. |

I saw the flags a few days before hand, and also some soldiers up around namsan a day or two before hand |

So you are saying this was pre-planned, and a coincidence? |
