Yeah, that's it. Exist in legal grey areas. Avoid registering. Good idea. Finding Mok-dong, Central Flippin' Seoul is really tough. Or you work for someone too shady to give you an afternoon off to go. Well done choosing your employer. Run around for 89 of your 90 days off saying that you don't think you should have to go to Immigration. Live without your ARC, bank account, cell phone, utility bill in your own name, driver's licence, local credit card or health insurance. Koreans should all bow down before your undocumented smiing face. You are a happy appendage of the local daycare. And when you don't get paid your monthly salary for wiping noses, don't bother calling the cops. You can't even prove that you work here.

Funny I had all of that within 2 weeks an my E2. I was registered with my embassy and the immigration online as soon as I landed. The reason my boss went with me is because I didn't know where to go and wasn't comfortable going into Seoul within the first month by myself. I was coming in from a rural area and had no clue where anything was. Hell I don't have a driver's liscense in the states so why should I worry about getting one in Korea Smile I am not sure exactly what your issues are with foreign teachers.

Good luck to the OP.

But just one thing...

It's M-I-N-N-E-S-O-T-A.

That's all.

I know how to spell Minnesota. I just made a mistake, and I can't figure out how to change my screen name.

Thanks for all the advice!
