If you think it's somehow more difficult to get a western girlfriend who speaks your own language and is from your own culture than to get a Korean girlfriend, then I assume you've never had a K-girl OR a western girl....you absolute idiot (and virgin). |

Sorry Axl if my observation touched a nerve with you. It�s like this. A group of guys from our office sometimes goes to Itaewon or someplace for a night on the town. Some of the guys are into Korean ladies, a lot prefer Western women and others have no preference at all. We joke about it and keep it friendly. Cool, whatever floats your boat, right? We see some good-looking foreign dudes walking past with nice Korean ladies. We see some handsome Western dudes wallking past with hot western women, too.
But one thing we all agree on is that we also see a lot of foreign men (and Korean dudes, too) who aren�t exactly endowed in the looks department, with Korean ladies who could almost certainly find a better catch. Now before you fly off the handle again, I�m only talking about looks here, not personality or job status, or love, ok? These are probably nice, marriage-minded women or local ladies who are simply curious about Western men. And more power to them. I think they're pretty brave to express that preference openly. Some of our guys think this place is nirvana because, for whatever reason, they find it a lot easier here than back home in terms of finding a date. They tell me this and I see how often they get hit on compared to back home. And what�s wrong with admitting it? I say go for it. One of our guys married a nice local lady, and they seem really happy together. Other guys married Western women and they�re happy too. Happy is happy.
But the OP is a bit delusional if he thinks any Western guy who comes here is automatically smitten by Korean women. From what I've seen plenty of Western dudes still prefer Western women. Nothing wrong with that either. You like who you like.
