not every person who drinks alchohol is an alchoholic but alchohol is still regulated with laws that determine where it can be sold and any establishment selling alchohol w/o permits will be subject to penalties. Has this hotel chain got the necessary permits to distribute "obscene" material (hardcore pornography) ? If not, they can be prosecuted. Then, after they get said permits, family groups can organize a boycott and we'll see what happens. Worst case scenario: you'll have to bring your own porn on your laptop.

But that's the thing; pornography IS regulated. Why people keep claiming that kids can access it is beyond me. Yeah, if parents order room service kids might get into the champagne. How about the mini-bar? Ban all alcohol? IF kids are in the hotel room by themselves using their parents' credit cards to order porn, that is a parenting issue, not a regulation issue.

Yes, family groups can organise a boycott, and yes, we can provide facts and studies to refute their claims.

The issue on this thread has become whether or not porn causes violence. laogaiguk has provided some pretty convincing evidence. Nobody has provided any eveidence to the contrary. Studies that give an opinion that x and y are related because they happen to occur at the same time without any evidence showing an actual link are bunk. Sorry. Some people may accept this bad logic, as conservative groups have shown again and again that they do, but I don't
