Starts September 27th and apparently it's pretty confirmed that there will be an eighth season. Like I said, Welling is under contract to do an eighth and provided the ratings don't do a nose-dive (which after 6 years on the air is pretty doubtful) I think that's probably be when the show will end. Clark doesn't turn up in Metropolis besides doing his degree at Met. U until he's over 30 so Smallville's Clark still has 10 years left to play with. 
Actually the fact that Welling is under contract is something that one of the main producers used as the excuse for why a rumour that he would play Supes in a JLA movie had to be unfounded and false. We'll see though.... |

wooo JLA movie. It can definitely be done - look at the success of X-men. Superhero organizations as movies are way better than single heros like batman or spiderman. |

Now with the seventh season underway, how'd you find the first episode? I thought it was pretty decent. I liked Bizarro though they didn't explore nearly enough about his "opposite-ness." When he fired his vision power I was SO hoping we'd see the poor dude frozen solid but they just cut away... damn!
Supergirl looks ok though we'll have to wait til next week to really get a better idea about her.
Any comments about the new season? |

They should have killed off either Chloe or Lana. The whole cliffhanger from season six revolved around potential deaths - kill off one of the main characters already.
I'd also like to see lex stew in prison for awhile, but that's not likely to happen. |

He can't spend too much time stewing in prison if he's going to go after his "angel" and seduce her to the dark side.  |
