Well, it had been very dry for quite some time. But, there has been quite a lot of rain the last few days and more to come. Have not seen any markets that are flooded. But the farmers market close to me is quite low level compared to the area just around it. So, that market might get flooded. However, due the the lack of rain, the farmers do want/need more, so it their market floods they would still be happy. Saw this happen a few years back, so maybe another hard long rain will do it

And again on page 27

There are most likely many flooded markets here:

It is official. Someone actually has a life that is more pathetically empty than mine.

It doesn't take much for an argument to start on this forum over the most pathetic of things.

As pathetic as it is be to have a pathetic post, there is nothing more pathetic than a post that has no response to a post. This is even made more pathetic due to the fact that the topic is about pathetic posts. Therefore, the post saying: "You shut up, you're so pathetic I have no response." has without question become the most pathetic post ever posted on the Internet since the first pathetic post was posted.

So for those of you applying for jobs in 2016? How are you finding it compared to 4 or 5 years ago or even 2 or 3 years ago? Is it easier to find work now? I'm seeing more jobs posted online with somewhat higher wages. Well, higher than just 2.1, though not so high as to make up with inflation during the past 10 years.

Compared to 4/5 years ago, slightly less jobs for slightly less pay. It's not extremely noticeable but it's definitely the case. Also more people here now. There is/likely will always be 2.1 mil jobs going for those with experience. It's still the standard, what I have noticed and it's been quite considerable is the lack of side benefits and increase in teaching hours. One way flights/many more required teaching hours has been on a faster increase in the last half a decade, IMO.

Even at some of the better universities/jobs. Basically still looking as bleak as ever, it's a constant case of slow decline/people moaning that things are worse than they used to be and that they'll get out. Many of whom don't ever leave. It's the same way across the whole of asia though, some countries have just started on this path though. Korea has already been on the trail for quite some time.

I think most realistic people know that things aren't looking good but still love the work/country enough to stay which is half the problem why things are getting worse but you can't blame them really.
