| Hershey's isn't bad, until you open up your world and try other brands of chocolate. I like that Lindt brand or whatever it's called. Although Hershey's is bland, it's better than nothing, I guess. |
In your av, it looks like you got some Hershey's chocolate sauce there in your eye.
Korean chocolate is crap. Avoid convenience store chocolate at all costs, especially the stuff in a can.
I used to eat Morinaga dark from Japan every so often. In the words of Rachel Ray, that stuff was delish.
There was another Japanese brand that I would frequent but the name escapes me.
Both brands had big posters under Jamshil subway station near the turnstiles for a few months. They both must have pulled out of Korea as I haven't been able to find them for a few months. |

From seeing films like "Empire of the Sun", I always assumed Hershey's chocolate would be the best thing ever. How wrong could I be? You can't buy it in my home country, so I tried it for the first time here in Korea. Wow! How can they make chocolate smell and taste like puke?? When kids give me those little Hershey's Kisses, I always just pass them on asap. The white chocolate ones are ok, but the brown ones really make me gag.
Are they really popular in North America? How is this possible?? |
How is it possible you are from a country that doesn't sell such a well known American brand? No doubt from the backwaters of the modern age.....
My dumbass dyslexic narcissistic FORMER roomate one day at school started jerking off about some European chocolate, so I walked to the map of America, pointed at PA, and said, "Hey! Chocolate begins and ends right here, in Hershey!" to which he told me I was so American.....and I thought, "Your Goddams right I am!"
Pardon me for the same story twice here, but I really love this one. And I tell it whenever I get a chance.
Now as soon someone else invents a better mass-produced choco concoction, we'll talk. Until then, I will wait in anticipation for the next inslallment of those commercials with the witty M&M's in mortal peril. |
I'm assuming that was sarcastic... or was it? You kinda sound like a guy I used to work with who was the worst human I've ever met and was always talking about Hershey, Pennsylvania. Is it you, FAT BRIAN???? |
No, Brian here...... and if thats a nod to the sarcasm meter, thanks.
But my FORMER coworker has the distinction of being one of the worst human beings...... and he still owes me money. I've found the best way to deal with assholes comes from the advice of one of the old sergeants on a rerun of "Hill Street Blues..." "Do it to them, before they do it to you!" |
