Well, maybe it was just the pundits who suggested she would wrap it up by the end of the primaries if she was "done", but pundits usually get their ideas from somewhere.
The DNC has been trying like hell to avoid a scrap at the convention as
happened in '72 (I think).
I wonder if the superDs wsill now step up, send a very clear message, and finish this thing to avoid a convention scrap? |
SuperDs are trending heavily Obama right now.
Meanwhile, Hillary is not destroying the party. That is hyperbole. In fact, the extended race is actually good for the Democrats.

That seems like wishful thinking Mr. Kuros. Check out this link please and get back to me.

Even if they don't vote for McCain but just stay home...that's still good for McCain. |
Give it another five months.
Edit: That poll is from 2 months ago. So, give it another seven months
Edit2: Look at this. |

2 or 5 or even seven months...it doesn't really matter. All it does is give time for attitudes to harden. The longer Clinton stays in the more desperate she and her supporters will become. And the more the danger of a permanant split in the Democractic party. It should be a cakewalk for them and they're basically handing it to McCain. |

Looks a lot to me like she means what she says when she promises to take it to the convention floor...

| WASHINGTON -- The Democratic Party is likely to meet rule-breaking Florida and Michigan halfway when it comes to seating their delegates at the national convention, two members of the rules committee said Wednesday... |
