You would be SHOCKED and STUNNED and absolutely FLABBERGASTED at the idea that some people just don't get it when it comes to taking people as individuals.

Hmmm... I hope I didn't come across as someone who doesn't take people as individuals... I absolutely treasure the two years I lived in a dorm of international students in college. I am appalled though that my own family (while not in the least bit rascist) still refers to my ex-girlfriends by what ethnicity they were.

See...he gets it.

The next [er, First] time I meet a pair of girls who are into alternative stuff, I'll keep that in mind.

Cedar that makes you pretty much exactly the same as the white guys you're complaining about. Been hurt or let down by white guys and had enough? What ever, if you make up your mind before the game even starts you eliminate the possibility of magic ...

Kiwiboy,
I have NEVER complained about the white guys in Korea. I just find it EASIER to meet a KOREAN in Korea than a white guy. It shouldn't be hard for ANYONE to understand the statistical relevance, and since I speak Korean, the only people I can't communicate with are some of the SE Asian factory workers who haven't been here long enough to learn to speak.

"Give me a Korean man over a Western man anyday of the week. I can leave the reasons to your own imagination, so as not to hurt anyone's feelings.

And I mean hurting the feelings of the Western men on this board.

The reality is that Western men will continue to feel they are superior and better catches... yet many of them find Korean women preferable to Western women. So, why can't they imagine that in fact a Western woman might see things their way, but with the sexes reversed?"

Good quote... a bit out of context, but still, am I complaining about Western men? No. I'm leaving that to your imagination, and making the VERY obvious comment that Western men seem to think that all the Western women in this country are gangers for them, while their eye roams appreciatively across the Korean women...

I have met some great non-Koreans here in Korea. Since I've been in Korea, I haven't limited myself to dating Korean men. I just haven't found a white guy that I was interested in... which doesn't surprise me considering 1. the type of look i am attracted to -and- 2. the small population of Western men, who are spread out across the country and not all available.

Are you making that judgement from what you read on the board or from real life, or maybe both. In any case I haven't read anything on the board that would suggest that to be true, if you have you might post a quote. Neither have I ever come accross that sentiment in real life.
