Yeah, how dare they control them while they conduct terrorist activities and are lobbing all kinds of weapons into Israel. |
Gee, I guess these two actions are just a coincidence? |

He is good for that, is he not? And, as I said, above, that hot-headed journalist deserved everything he recd. On the other hand, beware Z. Brzezinski's faulting the W. Bush administration like that. He, like many from Washington, suffer accute U.S.-centrismitis.
Remember when Brzezinski claimed to have brought down Soviet Russia?
In any case, I see no evidence that you get it, Bangbayed. Taking these people at face-value carries its own problems. |

The US media really hates Israel doesn't it? No wonder they have to resort to using Youtube to get their message across. |

| Most educated arabs would agree, if pushed, Hamas are 1)crazy 2)a result of saying bring democracy to the middle east. Arab culture is tribal, religious, and elite-oriented. Let the arab street vote and you get crazy people running the place. They know it. Democracy is not for everybody. That guy from Singapore would agree with me. |

Dude you're getting very dangerously close to sounding like a racist bigot though you probably aren't intending to be. The British once used pretend that they needed remain in countries such as India and Ireland because the inhabitants weren't up to the job of running their own affairs and somebody needed to be their to keep order.
This is really at the heart of Israeli propaganda. They don't go on TV telling their citizens to kill Palestinians and Arabs but what they do is teach their children that they surrounded by people are basically inferior to them and who only want to cause Israel harm just because it's a Jewish state and for no other reason. |

No, he isn't. You're injecting the words "bigot" and "racist" into the argument becuase you can't really refute what he's saying.

Strangely, I wonder why you didn't use Zimbabwe / Rhodesia in your example.

Are you speculating on what you think the Israelis are doing? Yes. Yes, you are. |

Arab is like so many social labels, there is lots of grey area and different ways to define who is Arabic.
It would be fairly easy to make the case that Eygpt is Arabic, quite a bit harder for Turkey and a pretty big stretch to say that Pakistan was an Arab Nation. |

Excellent. I love when the high-brow crowd arrives to strike some sense into the plebes.

EXACTLY! Unlike that clear, glaring reason for plunking down an Israel encompassing the holiest city in the world
(oh wait,...*cough*...*cough*... lemme collate my notes on the rationale for that)

Yesh, Goph kicks himself several times in the face before he goes laying such accusations. Try that before deciding such hypocrisy suits you. |

Arab countries are countries that speak Arabic is a official, first language, it includes Morrocco to Iraq. Iran is Persian, Turkey is Altaic, and Pakistan is multi-ethnic speaking several Indo-languages. Also Egypt is a total farce democracy and is not a well run country. |

I think your post is a better response to the question as it's a political definition of Arabic (is Somalia Arabic?), but Arab is also a cultural label and there are people that can be identified as Arabic that can't speak Arabic. |
