| The old guy was probably out of her earshot, unless if she was talking about you. |

I'm guessing you didn't end up in bed together later that night (but you still did the right thing- service people get abused alot. I speak from experience). |
Haha not that night, but I'd seen her a few times before that. Too many guys put up with crap that they don't need to and get themselves sucked into embarassing situations. |

Look, this whole post was started because the OP got offended that some chick he'd been leering at for half an hour called him an 'old man'. It's rather obvious, isn't it?
OP - this isn't Thailand. The chicks aren't going to lie to you. |
The OP did not say that he had "been leering at" the woman who called him an old man.
He simply passed by her on the street, and that is when she said that.
Pay attention , Nero - and don't make stuff up. |
Why don't you chill out - I was being facetious. Also, I'm really sure that the OP would admit that that was what he had been doing. (Fyi - that's sarcasm). |

Wow. in one post you say you were being facetious ( a cop out) , then go right back to putting words in the OP's mouth.
Get over it. He was just passing by the woman and her comments were unsolicited.
As it has been pointed out here, "westerners" clearly are far more disrespectful to older people.
And we are not talking in our 70's or 80's -- just fourty something.
Get with it people - if you are lucky - you will reach your fourties.
What is with the "old guy" attitudes in a place like Korea, where there is a large mix of expatriates as a previous poster has pointed out.
Anyway, there are bars in Iowa City that have a complete mix of everyone from 21 to 50.
I would suspect though ,that downtown is pretty much college students turf.
Where 25-30 somethings by the way - would be called "Old guys" (or girls)
Why don't you go there and see how you are treated?
Anyway, I remember drinking with my 40 something prof when I was 20 and not thinking of him as an old guy.
Someone of you punks are clueless. |

Ah, I get it now. Regicide (The OP) must've been banned, and his sock Theme is speaking for him. |

Yup, looks that way. For, although I am not allowed to put words into his mouth, it appears that Theme was actually there that day, lol |

You are a pretty smart feller - Yes Regicide got banned for an oversized avitar! That makes Theme a replacement - not a sock.
What else was I going to do but get a new name?
What I want to know is how that woman who got thrown into the taxicab after her friends left made out?
The young African man didn't seem to be able to catch up to that "old man."
Looks like he still had some life in him after all. |

In Itaewon a while back, I observed a white women say something to the effect, " look at that old guy," while referring to a white haired causcasion guy.
Recently back in the states, a similiarly aged woman, make another kind of off the cuff, smart remark.
These women always seem to be safely with their boyfriend, or at least friends and they seem to be the only class doing this. |
What would you have done to her if she'd been alone??
Anyway, it's not advised to make smalltalky comments about things you see around you when you have no friends around to listen to them. It looks like you're just talking to yourself! |

No kidding.
The funniest part for me, though, is the "Recently, back in the states..." bit. It sounds like he's giving a news report of some shocking event... hahah.

You are missing the point. Please refer back to the title of this thread.
Women never shoot their mouth off alone - it is always when they are with someone. |

I guess it's true that sometimes men, when they are alone, will make random and rude comments to strangers: lewd remarks to women, "watch where yer going, buddy", etc. Women seldom do this. |

| It takes a real man to tell his woman to shut up when she's being obnoxious in public. |
