Too bad I missed this. I'll be back in Korea in a coupla weeks and living in Gangnam myself. How do you rate it as a neighborhood to live in?

Well, I'm technically in Seocho-gu, but where I live it's 2 bus stops from Gangnam, so I'm there all the time. Plus I work right near Gangnam Station. It's a good place to live. All diff. kinds of food, drinks, etc. But expensive at times. It's a few bus stops from Itaewon (take the 420, or any other blue bus with "4" in it to Hannam Vocational School, then get on the 110 into Itaewon...or you can just walk from the bus stop about 10 minutes), right over the river from Seoul proper.

Where in Gangnam are you living? I used to live in Daechi-dong.

Don't know yet, my school will help me choose an apt when I get there. I suppose it'll be a choice of something really expensive right next to work or something slightly less expensive a bit further away - it'll be coming out of my inflated salary ; ). Thanks for the bus tips.

There were a handful of us, around 8 or so I think.

Thanks to MB for setting it all up. I'd definately go to a September one and the Big Rock is a pretty decent venue.
