I actually want to add something constructive regarding the original OP.

In Korea, I never saw children begging in the streets. I suppose they are too busy playing Starcraft in the local PC bang.

But here in China, it is a different story. Boys and girls on their knees, cap out (or hands out) with their heads down.

I am certain this kids have no home or need the money. Their clothes look ratty, and they smell, even from a distance.

Most of them I imagine don't last long, getting picked up and put in some sort of special home.

Those that are of North Korean origin get shipped back to the great big playground in Chosun, digging in the mines or toiling the fields (after being tortured for punishment). How DARE they run away from paradise??!!
