Including housing allowance, I make 18,000rmb every month.

Just saying.

How many hours (or classes)?

I worked 12 classes a week March through June with the added benefit of Korean food for lunch every day.

In Beijing I'm getting 13,000/month for 17 hrs/week, scheduled over 3.5 days. One class is two hours, the rest are three hours long.

It's a university job, so all the standard university perks apply (4 months vacation, vacation bonuses, RT airfare, etc). We'll see how I like itif it isn't for me, I'm coming back to Korea.

I much prefer Seoul to Beijing or Shanghai.

Why?
Sorry, I missed this before. Basically, there are more things I like to do in Seoul than in Beijing. I like going to the opera and symphony and to art galleries and the like. In Seoul these sorts of things are affordable and relatively common; in Beijing, not so much.

I've also found many more people (Korean and foreign) in Seoul that I share interests with. I've gotten to know some great people in China, but have met some real nutcase foreigners. China isn't as stringent with their requirement for teachers, and it shows.

I've made wonderful Chinese friends, but just prefer Korea.
