I still watch it. It passes the time, I'll give it that much credit.

The premiere of The Walking Dead was absolutely fantastic. I'm a HUGE fan of the comic and judged it as so. I'm pretty sure anyone who likes zombies, however, would like (probably love) it as well. AMC has such an amazing line-up of "original" programming.

Can't wait for episode 2 to roll around, and since I'm up to date with the comic, I'm probably at least 5 seasons of episodes into the story--and I'm STILL excited to relive the comic on the TV.

As far as comics into TV shows, I really think TWD is pretty simple to convert and do well. As much as I'd love to see a Goon or Chew TV show, I think I'd end up hating them... especially b/c they'd probably cast Dan Dae Lee, Ken Jeong, or the Asian guy from Chuck/Dexter for the role of Chew. Seems like they're the only guys hired for any Asian role.

John Layman has been pretty direct about Ken Leung being a prime inspiration for Chu. His partner is modeled after Josh Holloway.

I wouldn't mind seeing them on a show together again. Smile

I hate Mad Men. I watched the whole first season and kept waiting desperately for something to happen and by the end of the season some stuff happened but it wasn't really enough to justify the wait.

I like Dexter. I think they've done a good job of introducing new characters for Dexter to have a relationship with in each season but they are all unique in their circumstances/personality. I just didn't like Lila from season 2.

I think 6 feet under was a great example of a show about an ordinary family (aside from the funeral home thing) that was interesting but still relatively plausible.

I didn't like weeds, I watched the first season and thought it was a little too self congratulatory in its supposed edginess.

TV Series I enjoy include Dexter, I love Mythbusters--such a rewarding show, The Simpsons, Modern Family, Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Top Gear.
