The biggest one works out to about 18k with shipping.
Good for about 2 recharges of the phone.

That's nifty! I'll have to send that link to my sister. She kills her battery on a daily basis.

This could be a dumb question, but I've been trying to read on here (and other websites/forums) to understand the whole "taking cell phones to Korea" issue. From what I've gathered, both Korea and Sprint use CDMA networks (correct me if I'm wrong, please). I'm with Sprint right now, and I have an EVO (no sim card), so my main question is: will my phone work in Korea? I'm not talking about international plans because they are super expensive - I'm mainly just wondering if there is any way that I can get my EVO unlocked or activated to work in Korea. If anyone has experience with this or has any insight on it, please let me know! I wouldn't mind buying a new phone when I get to Korea, but I just love my EVO and want to use it there, if possible.
Thanks!

That really depends on how much you'll use it.

Going with i-Value is about the standard. It's 55,000 won per month, and you get 300 mins, 300 texts and unlimited data, if you need more than that you can get a bigger plan (which also means a bigger discount.) Also, if you need/want to call the U.S on a regular basis i can help out with that too. Shoot me a PM if you have anymore questions or need more details.

The USIM fee is 5,500 and it comes on your first bill.

I just got the Galaxy S on an E2 visa. 12,000 won a month for the phone for two years until it's paid off, and 55,000 a month for service fees (300 min, 200 text, unlimited internet). Have to pay 39,000 won for first use fee, 8,900 won for SIM chip, and 20,000 won deposit as well, but I broke up the payments for the first couple of months.

Apparently it would have been a lot more expensive if they didn't check my ARC and tell me my "grade is A+"...

So far I like it, but I can't believe the low number of free minutes/text that was given. Now, I was told that if I go over my minutes/text, it's 1,800 won per SECOND. I seriously hope that information was given to me incorrectly and it's 1,800 won per minute because that's utterly ridiculous!

Even 1800won/minute is way over the top.
As for texts, don't worry. Install Kakaotok. Most people in Korea with smartphones use it and it really cuts down on the texts you send. Just remember to use that instead.

Someone recommended that I get it right away, so I have been using that one!
