Ethnic cleansing perpetrated by Muslims does not automatically equate to ethnic cleansing on the basis of religion. What you see as a jihadist conflict in East Timor is by no means universally accepted as such. From my view, most of the violence committed by the Indonesian state has been ethnically based, for sure, but not religiously so.

... then why are all the victims christian? Why are all the systematically persecuted areas of the country christian areas? Why are Islamic jihadist terror groups involved in all the relevant conflicts?
The same pattern is repeated in many muslim-dominated countries. Oil money funds islamic terror groups- the cutting edge of expansionist Islam.

Lets see what the victimised communities have to say:

Quote:
Moluccas International Campaign for Human Rights

The Human tragedy that occurs in the Moluccan islands in the past two years was the result of a collaboration and conspiracy organized by the Indonesian government by using the Indonesian Army and the Jihad vigilantes.

The army set a special fund in the amount of $40 million to finance the Jihad forces.

The remaining money to aid the Jihads came from terrorist organizations in the Middle East.

Islamisation by force or face execution by the Jihad vigilantes are leveled upon the Christian population. They must also face the prospect of forced circumcision just like a bunch of animals seen being castrated by their owner. The Syari'a or Moslem law became the law in those occupied lands.

In every attack the Jihad vigilantes placed Moluccan Moslems by force in the front line to fight their Christian brothers /sisters.

The Police and the Courts are basically impotent or unwilling to solve this war.

Why aren't they Balinese? I have close friends who are Indonesian Christians who wouldn't agree with any of your claims.

I'm afraid you have been resoundingly defeated monsieur Northway. I hereby relinquish interest in further debate.
Your plaintive begging of irrelevant points, impotent use of tired, meaningless, airy-fairy neo-liberalist PC banalities and continued ignoring of the massive weight of evidence against you does not engender confidence.
Unsurprising for an emotionalist who burst onto the thread in a fireball of insult-slinging fury.

I sentence you to a lifetime as a muslim woman.

For some reason the Ottawa Somali Community isn't continuing the long tradition of Somali academic soccess:

Quote:
Somali mothers step up for community

...

The mothers also took a close look at the education system and found it wanting. They could see that most of the boys went to schools in lowincome neighbourhoods, where there were few to zero visible-minority teachers for a highly diverse population, and students underperformed on standardized tests.

The mothers began lobbying school board trustees to pay attention to cultural issues, to increase recruitment of minority teachers, and to retain the multicultural liaison program, which provides counsellors to help immigrant parents and their children navigate the school system.

"When we ask the school board about low test scores, they tell us it's because there are so many lowincome families, so many parents without university degrees, or homes where English is the second language," Mohamed said. "We find that insulting: I don't have a university degree, but I am educating my children. Nobody expects these children to succeed. So we tell mothers, 'Get involved in the education of your children, meet the teachers, and when you see trouble, call for help, speak out.'"

What are the test scores in Somalia? Surely they have cultural support, black teachers and no language issues in Somalia. Bloody Canadians. It's as if our elite looked at the US and said "yeah, we need those problems too".

EDMONTON (CTV) Edmonton's Somali community says it wants an apology from police after a detective accused people of not co-operating with a homicide investigation.

The community has asked for a meeting with Deputy Chief David Korol and other senior officers.

Mohamad Accord of the Alberta Somali Community Centre says they want police leaders to make it clear that they don't share the detective's views and they want the detective to apologize.

They *don't* cooperate. Why should the police apologize?

Quote:
Edmontons acting police chief apologized in writing Friday to the Somali community after a homicide detective sparked a controversy when he complained that witnesses to a New Years fatal shooting involving Somalis refused to co-operate with police.

Quote:
A Grant MacEwan University criminologist says Edmontons Somali groups need to step up in helping police solve a rash of homicides.

Criminologist Bill Pitt said an apology from acting police Chief Dave Korol to Edmontons Somali community on Friday wasnt warranted since many witnesses havent fully co-operated with homicide detectives. The apology follows Det. Bill Clarks remarks saying hes fed up with lack of witness co-operation.

This was unnecessary, said Pitt.

The apology smacks of political pandering. If anything, the Somali community should apologize to the City of Edmonton for its lack of cooperation in all of these murders.

It was not the role of the police to go cap in hand on bent knee and apologize to this community.

Its up to that community to step up. That community needs to stop projecting on to the police that its their fault on whats going on in their community.

On Friday, Korol unveiled a poster highlighting 12 slayings of the Somali-Canadians in Edmonton since 2006 its message in bold reads somebody out there knows.

Finally a prof I agree with.

It's a sad state of affairs when you've skipped the evolutionary hyphen and gone straight into making "low income" a single word.
