Where's the K-League coverage? Stupid baseball games on all channels and not a football game in site... |

You mean the sport where they are on the injured list with a sprained pinky??? real sport = hockey, American hockey and rugby...end of story. |
Bah. Real sports are ones people can play while being overweight- bowling, baseball, darts, trick shot pool. |

Japan baseball is where it's at - Go Hawks! Search myp2p.eu or Justintv for live matches.
Korean baseball - so so. My cable covers all 4 contests per night so no shortage here. Afreeka for those who want to view on the internet.
MLB - Not the same after drug scandals of a few years back. $100 season pass is not bad though.
Korean games are a lot of fun to go to. Buy fried chicken and soju and bring in into the park. MLB won't let you do this.
Hopefully many will get out of their shoeboxes and go see one or two during their times here. |

| Do you think I will be able to get tickets at the door for Saturday's Lotte vs. SK game? I'm not sure if it will be a sellout or not. |

I guess so if the game is in Incheon. In Busan, maybe.

| If you go up to the ticket window before the game you can always get tickets even though Lotte games can get pretty packed down in Busan. Been a big fan of theirs since I got here. Just wished the new manager wasn't crap and our first two hitters suddenly can not seem to hit. |

What the hell is American hockey????
So u got hockey, u know the sport Canadians, Americans and Euros play... I agree real sport, rugby is okay, but I'd say Aussie rules guys and American footballers are tougher..... rugby is cool though |

| Let's not have a sports debate here and get back to the topic. The KBO needs more marketing and sales ideas to make the teams profitable (I suppose none of them really are and are counted as advertising and marketing expenses by their conglomerate owners). |

I think most teams are profitable, except Nexxen.... the merchandise really well, most teams have third jerseys.....I'm sure the Doosan Bears have had 6-7 different jerseys in the last 4 years......
I wish they allowed more than 2 foreigners in the league.....maybe allow 2 pitchers and 2 fielders. |

This is off topic, but the words appear to be lacking on this site so they need to be posted:
Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board.
Something that is quintessentially American. I don't know whether I miss it or am happy I never have to hear those words again here in Korea. |

Strictly speaking, Korean professional baseball teams cannot be considered professional since most of them are not profitable. Major businesses either acquired teams or created their own merely for promotional reasons, so they can stomach losses of as much as W10 billion as marketing costs.

Japan baseball is where it's at? Their league is AA compared to MLB. Afreeca's live matches? You can only watch at 9AM or 2/3AM for that. That sucks. Mlb.tv is sweet. I have it. It's awesome. I can watch ON DEMAND, and even if my team loses, I can watch the condensed game. I went to a Korean baseball game and it was crazy. The people had loads of food - which they were sucking on, and screaming during the entire game. It seemed more like the fans didn't care about the game as much as people do in the US or South America. I was standing up for a while, and the people behind me, who were munching and screaming, didn't even notice that I was blocking their view. I would have been told to take a seat in MLB stadiums. |

You can sign up for the Ticketlink site and then wire transfer money to an account for the tickets. |
Thanks for this information. Unfortunately, when I try to buy tickets, I enter my bank information in the "bankpay" screen, but when I try to submit it another window comes up and gives me some error message about my security certificate (or maybe an electronic signature, my Korean is terrible). I've tried 2 computers now, at work and in a local PC bang.
Or is the error because I entered a foreigner ID number into Bankpay? Bankpay asked for a "social security number" (according to Google translate), so I figured it meant ID and I typed in my ARC number.
I don't know why it has to be so complicated to buy baseball tickets! The game I want is selling out fast, too |

Sitting together? Yes, a problem.
Go early. Or just one of you bite the bullet and hold the seats.
