They're as prejudiced to underweight as they are to overweight, if its any consolation. You have to be perfect in this country.
If you want to lose weight, try this:
a) take up smoking (goes well with the lifestyle here)
b) get a job with long hours, so you're always bus and can skip a few meals.
c) Hit that treadmill at the gym.
d) Drink a lot of spirits and less beer, takes away your appetite.
e) Allow yourself to fall deeply in love with some bi*ch who never returns your phone calls. Likewise takes your appetite away.

All the above tips work absolute wonders.

i think you forgot to mention one:
f) all americans are fat losers who can't get jobs back home.

anyway... good point about smoking. that reminds me, does anyone know the fat content of snot and phlegm? i'm no doctor, but it seems like pretty fatty stuff. if your experience is anything like mine, you'll be producing buckets of it your first few months here. good luck!

for Western women, I think the clothes and makeup are the only thing that makes Korea tolerable...their stuff is much more stylish than what women in the States have to chose from I think.Chi-Chi

That's a pretty sad state of affairs then, cause Korean clothing is generally poor quality, exessively cute(In an "I wanna look like a ten year old" kinda way) and fits badly on a western frame.

Y'know what folks, we stand out here. It doesn't matter what size or shape, if you're not Korean you stand out. Koreans don't consider it rude to make comments on people's appearance, so you will hear cracks about your big nose, or your boobs, or your gut, whatever. No, it doesn't make life any easier, but if we wanted an easy life would we really be in Asia at all?
