| In watching the video, I noticed there was a person lying on the ground naked? WHat was that all about? Did some kind of rape or assult happen there? It's towards the end of the video clip. |

New news report (video) was more of a general report about wacky behavior involving the subways, headlining of course with the vegetable-wielding grandma, and moving on to showcase other incidents which included some nude person in Busan.
Not sure if someone else translated the report, but basically it goes as follows.
An old lady cursed and swung a very light bag (I believe I started the lettuce thing, but I didnt catch that in the report, and simply made a guess) because some girl did not give up her seat.
Said old lady has been known as "Gangstrer Grandma" and spoken about in various blogs/forums on the net for 9 years.
She doesnt seem to bother men, she only picks on women, and the subway personnel basically dont know what do do with her.
Story then moves to the "nude" person incident which it says happened two days earlier in Busan..mentioning that it was a mentally disturbed woman
Then on to a few incidents that happened months or even years ago (young guy giving old man a talking to, cigarette lady..etc)
Then the professsor who related this to people who in his opinion rarely show their confidence, but in situations like subways, sometimes their hidden desires to speak out/act in the way they typically repressed comes out suddenly...basically meaning people hide their emotions and put up with things they consider crap, but occasionally they snap. |

@dairyairy, I'm curious... what's the purpose of posting this garbage on dave's esl board?
Are you a man on a mission, letting the world know that the koreans are violent and the country is not a safe place to live and raise a family?
Or are you just another troll, getting a kick out of it? |
It's big news in Korea and it should be posted so that you, and others, can keep up-to-date on current events. Information is power, dude. |
I post to educate and inform. Wake up to reality, people. The more you know the better you are at making decisions. |
Noticed that my previous post was deleted probably because I used a s-word.
Anyways people already know that shit happens in Korea. People also know that sickos always look for something sick to please themselves and easily find freaky things on youtube these days. Someday these sick idiots will perform their own freak shows in public.
Educate and inform? Oh man, you need medical attention. |
well these subway stories made the news in Korea, so you are saying Korean people are sickos because this is the kind of stuff that they show on the news in Korea? If so then I resent that, I am not Korean, but I definitely don't think Korean people are sickos. It seems to be a topic a lot of Korean people are interested in so the news puts it up for ratings, so naturally as foreigners we are discussing it too. |
News reporters, especially internet news reporters like 김우람who wrote the online article for 머니투데이, will read anything and everything, including this subway freak show, that they can to see if they can find an article in it. Needless to say they play around with topics and subjects in order to grab more attention but thats what they do for a living. The problem is that sickos (like the op and yourself) sensationalize those freak events on the internet and spread the stories with sick implications. Don't forget to take your meds in the morning and find something worth discussing. |
Hmmmm, but these videos are popular in Korea right? So are you saying Korean people are sickos because this type of video is popular in Korea? I think you should tell us what you think of the Korean people that watch these videos instead of singling me and the OP out. After all, we wouldn't even know about these videos if they weren't popular here in South Korea.
And, you don't know about the problems some of the Korean people in these videos have had. You sound a little insensitive and cold when you call them "freakshows". Please be more considerate of people. |
