You raise more questions than you answer. For example, why would someone's boss ask for information about Korea? What exactly do they wish to know and for what purpose?

Are they interested in the unvarnished truth that Klown comments on or do they want the whitewashed version? If they were marketing some product, klown might help them understand that their advertising should, rather be innovative, creative or humorous, follow the pattern Koreans expect and respond to.

As for the consensus, I think it would be ROFLMAO.
Very Happy

If that guy is so smart, why hasn't some executive found his blog and promptly hired him to take over the Korea department?

You're deluded if you don't think that the average reaction back home would be one of guffaws. Most people would call him a racist and a loser. They'd look at the blog and say "Seriously, this is what you spend your evenings doing? Why doesn't he just leave?"

It would be as baffling to people as seeing some blog called "Plownisms: Life in Plown Land" and the person lived in Peru and was ranting about Peruvians. Most people would have zero emotional connection to the person and no frame of reference and would consider the person a sad little man who was also a possible sociopath.

Even bashers have stated that they find the guy a bit unhinged. He doesn't read like some sharp social commentator, he reads like the worst of youtube comments with an occasional nice line. But that one line or so doesn't make him a serious source.

Well, Im going to put myself out on a limb here then and say in all honesty, I find his blog quite refreshing. Especially when you have to walk around inflating Koreans egos everyday, by lying when they ask why youre here, and the only real reason is money (its also a waste of money at this point to relocate).

There's a lot of truth in what he says, its also quite funny. Its also intended to be offensive and taking that as the basis for reading it, Im not offended by it.

I think you don't like it because he named and insulted you directly...Laughing

Yip! The insult felt like a personal attack to Steelrails.
