As sad as it sounds, its true! She has to know you exist. Approach her some how, (wait till shes talking to some one you know perhaps,or ask her advice about some thing) make her laugh, and walk away!
I think when u like some one with out realising you show it in your body language ( i know I do!!), and with out intending it u go OTT. By 'ignoring' (or more keeping at arms length) your showing the indipendent, confident popular side of your personality. We LOVE that. (so what if yor not indipendent, confident ands popular, they don't know that!)
