Well George Bush does choose the cabinet he surrounds himself with. I wish George Bush had a more diverse cabinet. Abraham Lincoln did that best. He picked a cabinet full of rivals. On many issues its best to have a ying and yang perspective because it forces a good compromise. George Bush is the leader of the country. What happened in the aftermath of Katrina was a disaster. He should of chosen proper leadership in the position responsible or handled it personally. IMO he did neither and as a result Katrina was worse than it should of been. I do agree that George Bush isn't solely responsible for bad government, but I believe he is part of the problem and not the solution. |
