Been there, done that. That pain is undescribable. My brother went one better though. A girl hates him to this day after his chilicutting fingers found their way inside her |

One thing I finally learned my lesson was to not try and squeeze a fart out when you might possibly have diarrhea. That happened to me a few weeks ago one Saturday morning. I was doing some laundry and thought, yeah it'll be okay to force this one. At first I thought it was just one of those warm farts that lingers in your pants for awhile, but when I felt it running down my ankle I knew it was no fart after all. An entire load.. in my jeans.
Man what a goddamn nightmare that was. |
Thanks for sharing |

Well well now. Will it be Cheju-do or Hawaii? Paris or Seoul? MacBookPro or Samdung Sens? Electricity or total darkness? Paper kites (oops sorry, that was China) or the Space Shuttle? The won or the dollar? Harvard or SNU? K-pop or Nat King Cole? Fargo, Caslablanca, and Apocalypse Now or Old Boy (boring flick of the year), Mother Jones or the Korea Herald? I just can't decide.
How about don't post when on drugs. |
Agreed. and that's from a Canadian. |

Definately want to hear more on this one...
Forgot to add an obligatory OT bit:
Never take a bus on the first day that the changes to bus routes begin without quizzing the bus driver on EXACTLY where he will be stopping.

- Never ride your bike down a canal embankment that looks like a miniature of the Grand Canyon.
- Never throw rocks at a passenger train with a pscho friend who is aiming for the windows, not the roof.
- Do be careful about those farts... |

Never throw an almost empty spray paint can into a bonfire when you are surrounded by cactus.
Don't steal a construction tractor and go joy riding on a Sunday afternoon. People will notice.
Don't streak in the desert.
Don't have sex with your bedroom door open even if you think the parental units will be gone all day. They ALWAYS come back early.
Never ever toss eggs onto a really really hot oil filled frying pan when you are naked! |

dont fry chicken naked. twice in two weeks now.
dont go to a strange place, stay in a cheap, back-alley motel, go out drinking, get drunk, and NOT get a business card from the place.
did that sunday night. Stayed near city hall (other side of the river), and went to itaewon. Got back at around 2, couldnt find the motel for more than an hour. |

Well, I'm sitting in South Florida this morning sipping on some real coffee getting ready to cruise up to Melbourne Beach to have lunch with my Cuba traveling buddy, so this is an interesting time to explain.
When we travel to Cuba we have to go through another country because our stupid government doesn't learn (even after forty years) that the US Cuban embargo doesn't work. It doesn't hurt Castro, only the good people of Cuba. And I can back up what I'm saying here, but please, I don't want to get political here--I just want to address the question.
Nassau Bahamas is the most convenient from South Florida to do the hop. If you're staying in the Bahamas, you will be charged $15.00 at point of entry. If you are jumping on another plane or cruise ship you can have that waived and get the notorious "in transit" stamp; that's what I did.
Well, on the way back Immigration put it together, stamped CUBA in big letters as I headed for Customs, cigar packed luggage in hand, with no one in line.
I set my bags on the counter and hand him the form thinking, oh well, here goes--to the back room. I hate the back room.
To shorten the story, he never looked in my bags, just lectured me a bit and I got through with all my Cohibas, Romeo y Julietas, and a few other boxes and some other stuff as well.
Now, let me tell you about Cuba. It is the most fantastic place to visit in the world as far as I'm concerned. The people are warm and genuinely friendly--not just if you're spending money, but just by their nature,
The food is excellent, the SCUBA is superb, the beaches pristine, and the women are stunning.
Here are a few pics from that trip:
Bay of Pigs Cuba (110 ft.)
Night club in Habana
I think I may do a Cuba trip before I return to the ROK. I assure you it will be discussed in a couple hours at lunch...
No reverse culture shock here...more like a honeymoon... |

Awesome! So you should just pay the $15 for a "proper" entry stamp?
Never put off that trip to Cuba just because you don't want to have to explain to your principal that you can't be back for the first day of school because you are being detained... |

But if you do, make sure you do so in Korea. Many times I have found myself doing the same.
Never start drinking heavily in the soju tents without showing your companions where your hotel is. Even if you are a single woman and they are guys, it's all just better if they know where to get you home to. |
