I'm similarly kept in line.
Off-screen and off-stage, I don't think I've heard the C-word come out of a woman's mouth since the last century. Not even in the bedroom. This is due to distances of geography, language and culture. I've been in Asia and have only slept with Asian women for over a decade. And back when I was in the whitey dating pool... well, the average whitey woman's vocabulary wasn't as 'coarse' as it seems today. Oh, I'm sure a few were, but I didn't know any of them tramps. Damn it.

Bobster, is this the point where Crusher_of_Heads is supposed to go flying off the handle because Big_Bird called his mother a bad word? And if he doesn't -- if he doesn't take the insult seriously & personally -- then by jiminy, he's a terrible unloving son? How does that work again? |

Seriously, though, I don't see what's trampy about it if the person being called a c**** honestly deserves it. Mincing words would be really silly then, wouldn't it? (I mean I have to mince words here, because of the filter, but ...) |

Well, except for the fact that elsewhere you have advocated that the moderators delete comments that are likely sincere opinions from male posters which you consider "insensitive" (whatever THAT means) - and when you think of it, it's nothing less than ideological totalitarianism ... I mean, aside from that, and the fact that you, yourself want to be able to hurl insults to the far corners while asking for protection from hearing disturbing ideas, and by the way, keeping other people from hearing them - I mean, hey, aside from that, there'snothing unreasonable about your attitude.
That was sarcasm, by the way.
Sure, insults are fun. But if someone is wrong and hateful and stupid, and even shall I say, hypocritical, why not just do the work and show it? Oh, just remembered - because THAT would be work. Gosh, wouldn't want that ...

I can't remember where I read it, probably in some fem. class in college, that the word used to mean a compliment of the utmost respect for a woman, somewhat like "queen."
This website had interesting etymologies of vagyno-like words:

Guru's got a point, it can rank pretty high on the offens-o-meter when used as an insult. I don't like sexual words being used as insults anyway. There are far more creative words to insult people, and if they have to use a dictionary to figure them out, all the better!
When used to describe part of a woman's body, I don't find it offensive at all. Frat boy euphemisms like bearded clam and pink taco make me want to sew my knees shut on the other hand. |
ROAST BEEF CURTAINS!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree- pink taco and bearded clam are f ucking disgusting. And Hair Pie... |

First of all, Roast Beef Curtains is possibly the most-disgusting thing I've heard all year.
Ummm...Yeah, I feel dirty just saying it. C*nt is okay. Did anyone see the Larry David episode where he called a guy a f*cking c*nt in a poker game and the game went silent and everyone got sooooo offended...?
And then there was another episode where Jeff's wife calls Cheryl a "carwash c*nt".
Ah Larry David. Always poking fun of people's sensitivities. |

What are some other gross names for that area???
I have heard "vertical bacon sandwich" and maybe the most offensive...hatchet wound! I just cried.
Actually, as repulsive as the last one is, I think the word "vagina" stems from something that means " aplace where a sword is kept." I'll have to look that one up further, but anything violent like the last name makes me want to puke in my pants. |
