agreed. spliff is the very definition of a troll and a cheapskate. giant could have put a price for 500,000 won... and spliff would still try to lowball him with a ridiculous offer. Rolling Eyes

Again, I totally agree with you. I see spliff making bids all over the place that are ridiculous. But then again... theres just no pleasing some people.

I work at a university also. The university provides either free software or subsidized software to university employees only. If your friend is selling his software from the university to you, it is not a legal copy if you don't work for the university. Microsoft has a license agreement with most academic institutions which limit the scope and use of these low cost licenses to only university employees and not for resale or reissue. If you want to talk about legal software, than make sure it's legal.

I would be interested in buying your dell for 800,000 KRW if I didn't just recently purchase a laptop from the Korean Government. The sweet thing is there is no tax, vat or shipping cost. The Korean government like most governments is bloated with excess which they are more than happy to sell.

I bought a LG W1-J2DTV Express Dual - Core 2 Duo T7200 2 GHz - 17.1" TFT which was used at one of their embassies.

I paid the Korean government 750,000 KRW for this machine which sells for 2.7 millon KRW brand new. It has 2GB of 667 Mhz memory, 160 GB SATA 5400 rpm drive and ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1600 with 256MB HyperMemory. There are many other things with this machine.

There are good deals out there.

Soletrouble, I'd be more than interested to hear more about this. If you have a link/website/address I'd like to take a look at what they are offering and at what price.
