In today's Glenn Beck "meltdown watch", he announces that he was wrong!
That Obama via Bush and started by Woodrow Wilson are bringing the country to...Fascism, specifically happy Fascism.
You gotta see it to believe it.

Link comes with video.
he did say that people should rise up, not with guns, but with their voices.
Whatever that's supposed to mean. |

Now in the third term of Obushama, it is about time he's come around to what some have been warning of for years.
We can only hope it is mere hyperbole. |

| Mea culpa; Glenn is right. When someone has the evidence, I am man enough to admit it and Glenn has the evidence. It is clearly on every dime, as Glenn so clearly shows. When Woodrow Wilson put the fasces on the dime, it was a sign that we were headed down the road to fascism. Woe to the republic. How long can it be until Glenn uncovers that Woodrow was the secret brother-in-law or something of Benito and both of them were the secret love children of Machiavelli? |

Your ridiculing G. Beck's hyperbole and sensationalism on this is certainly appropriate and something with which I can sympathize. Was that Triumph of the Will in the background? He is becoming a Michael Moore.
Just curious for comparative purposes, however. A while back, a leftist writer, a female whose name escapes me, hyperbolically and speaking just as alarmist as Beck alleged that W. Bush was making America a fascist dictatorship. "Ten easy steps to fascism," or something like that.
I do not plan to take the time to find that thread. I hope, however, you joined me in responding to that thing with the ridicule it deserved, too. If you did not, if you assigned her rationality and argued that we give her a fair hearing, etc., then that was a very banana-republic thing to do, Ya-ta Boy.
In any case, where did you stand on that? |
