This thread is absurd. Salaries in Korea are rising. I'm seeing salaries in the 2.6-2.8 million won range for just regular jobs. Vets with connections (which you should have) should never have a problem landing good jobs.
There are tens of thousands of good jobs available in Korea and anyone foreign with a pulse will get one. A quick look at job section confirms that.

I agree with this. I also think some people need a bit more spring in their step and up their social skills. No matter what the hagwon association or whatever says, theres a lot of privates/voice work/whatever have you here, even now. People hate the country or outside Seoul whatever, but those are the places you can really work and do better. Just saying.
and also, I made more money in 1996, but the exchange rate was crap, but here, I lived like a king (I still do, I guess ) |

I expect to see several links to "regular jobs offering 2.6 to 2.8". Otherwise, I am laughing at the absurdity of creeper's post.
Put up or shut up. |

He's been posting these, I assume, slightly tongue in cheek comments about how good things are in Korea/bad in China for some time now. I can't work out whether it's a very subtle attempt to make us envious of his wonderful situation over there or he really is worried about people upping sticks and going over to compete for his plum job. |
