Cultural assimilation is hardly a modern process, it has ocurred since the dawn of time. Normans took over england in 1066. They assimilated within a couple of centuries. and so on.

Show me one example of muslim integration in history. There aren't any. Many countries have gradually become muslim, but no muslim country has become Christian. or Bhuddhist ..or anything else. The religion is programmed to subjugate people into its grip forever, and there is no escape.

That was just France. Do I really have to go search the internet for the British, Canadian, Australian, Sweden equivalents?

You have no idea what is happening in your backyard.

Whilst it wasn't particularly a gradual process, how about the Moorish Iberian Peninsula?

It seems you are grasping at straws. I understand that people on this forum have friend or even family that are Muslim and sure they are nice people but their ideology is backwards and dangerous. There's just no PC way to say it without just saying it.

Sympathizers should go live in an Islamic country for a year or just go visit Iran for a couple of months for vacation and see if you would like countries around the world to emulate their way of life which is bereft of freedom and imagination.

The Spaniards woke up to creeping islamisation and expelled the problem while they were still able to do so. most countries have not been so fortunate and have passed a tipping point from which there was no return.

Its not hard to see why british and european muslims have totally failed to integrate after decades of living in their host countries. Their religion enforces their separateness from the community in 101 effective ways.
Lets see: muslim women are veiled and not permitted to talk to any man other than their husband. Many are discouraged from an education so cannot participate in the life of the nation, and to swell their numbers, each one marries a partner imported from a muslim country outside of the UK...and muslims are not permitted to marry non-muslims. "intercultural assimilation" with Islam is a one-way street and has been since the 6th century. You either become one of them or they destroy you.

Ever since the 6th century islam has swallowed up countries by a relentless process of either invasion or immigration, but always by cunning, force or brutality.

Muslims are quite aware of history and their role in an ongoing centuries-old conquest: westerners are not.

Yes, enough of those Muslim barbarians with their oppression of minorities, conquering of foreign peoples, forced religion, and slaughter of millions through warfare.

Rolling Eyes

EDIT- Anyone here on this board who is going off on Middle Eastern values and what not, if you had been born in a Middle Eastern country you would be quite the radical yourself.

you don't need to go to a muslim country to get an insight into their culture. Just walk around your own neighbourhood in any western country.

Well yeah, but on the other hand, is there anything in Western civilization "as we know it" worth saving? If we're just going to keep spiraling downwards anyways, I for one welcome our new Muslim overlords. I've been considering moving to Saudi Arabia or Iran and converting. Sergio, what's the scoop?

Really? My own neighbourhood is as WASPish as it comes. Perhaps you'd like to accompany me there to point out where that influence is in my neighbourhood or any of the neighbourhoods surrounding my own?

That's precisely what a good religion should do.
