can hardly blame him after a round of buffoonery at Immigration suddenly left him barred from here overnight.

Really? When?

well what he is omitting is KB overstayed his visa by something like a year. Yeah, he owes Korea a bankload of cash in fines.

KB overstayed by a YEAR?! And he is angry at Korea for kicing him out? How did he overstay for a year?

This just shows me the whiners here are responsible for their own misery. A guy b*tches about immigration but overstays for A YEAR?

Another post had a guy whining that he couldn't get a job in Australia after doing the EFL thing for five years in Asia, and then he slips in a little detail about how he didn't finish his bachelor's. So typical.

While you're looking it up, what's the fine for teaching on a tourist visa? Whatever it is, I predict it's just a matter of time before mithridate posts a million links to his new petition proposing the repeal of said fine.

I don't think Mithridates is a teacher. I believe he works for a newspaper if I'm not mistaken. Besides he says he doesn't even have a degree so if he did teach he'd be double d*mned so to speak. As well, I believe he said he is on a working holiday visa so he is not on a tourist visa anyway.

And he took the initiative to start a proactive cause to try to change Korean internet laws that will enable the foreigner community to be allowed to use online registration for access to various vital sites like Korean newspapers, job sites, bulletin boards, etc...

Show some fucking tact.

That petition, like everything else mithridates has come up with, is just self-serving nonsense.

Neither of these statements are true. KB did not overstay his visa by a year and he does not owe Korea any money. Last time I talked to him, he didn't sound the least bit amgry at Korea.

The Bobster can't help but sort of think it's maybe a little shabby to post unfounded rumors about people who are not able to come around here and set the record straight on their own.
