I know, I know! But my lips are hermetically sealed. As for my own moniker: When I first got into the teaching racket, a lifetime or two ago, I paid my dues, as many did in the day, on a First-Nations reserve on the north coast of British Columbia. At that time , Coolsage was the name of an aftershave product marketed by Avon, if I correctly recall. This was a place without telephony; the only communication around the village was via CB, and I chose coolsage as my handle. Twenty-five years on, I still like the juxtaposition of 'cool' with 'sage', although I'm certain that the manufacturers of the product had nothing like that in mind. Works for me. |
