According to Wiki, the DVD comes out in the states on May 13th.
I am so stoked to know I could pick up a copy before I leave......awesome! |

Are you in the States? I tried ordering from Amazon and got the big X because I'm here in Korea. Luckily I found some site called "Games in a Box" that hooked me up (Base Set Second Edition and Mall Walkers, of course), and it just came in the mail today! (And in less than a week, too- kickass.)
I'm reading that a lot of people tweak the rules a bit, and even found some rule adaptations on a couple websites. Czarjorge, you mentioned that you played it as a drinking game: Do you think you could give me some details of how y'all played it? I'm probably going to try it out on some Korean friends that are coming over on Saturday night that drink like champions.
Anyways, thanks for mentioning this game, and yeah, gamesinabox.com has a load of zombie genre games, actually... I was enticed by some of the others, but I gotta take it slow! I have barely enough time for one, anyways. |

It's better with more people. The way we did it was whenever you played an event card that damaged or otherwise inconvenienced another player they had to drink. Anytime you killed a zombie you made any other player drink.
Have you played yet? Its a long game. The drinking part kind of made the game devolve. A couple people just gave up after they died. It came down to the two of us who could best hold our liquor. |

Haha. Kill a zombie, do a shot- I like it! We'll probably give it a trial run tonight with soju if my wife's friends' husbands are into it (Korean guys... tough call). I've read that it's long on a few sites now, but I found a few modified versions of rules that shorten things up a bit, to a about 60-60 minutes.
Anyways, thanks for the reply! |

| How did it go? We were doing drinks of beer not shots of soju. |

| Ah, they got mesmerized by the Wii (never seen it before), so Zombies never even got a glance. Lots of alcohol consumed though, which I am paying the price for with a soju headache at this very moment. We'll probably give it a shot tonight (without the booze, though). |

| Thank you for that. Sweet, sweet zombie action. And Tom Savini's role as a redneck sheriff was fitting. |

This one is not as action-packed, but has some drama and fills in a few more blanks to the movie.........
Do you guys remember Andy?
The guy from the guns store who was playing chess and shooting the zombie celeb look-a-likes?
Well, ALSO on the DVD bonus feature and also on youtube, here is a comcorder diary of him from the time he barricaded himself in the gunstore until the time he turned into a zombie himself.
Again, no zombies, no action. Alot of commentary from him as to what he was going through as the zombies were going apeshiite outside the store....
