I don't think I've ever heard Atlanta be described as being exciting...

But yes, I think pretty much anywhere in North America besides NYC would be to adjust to after living in Korea. I moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area after Korea, and even though it was where I grew up and had a lot going on, I still found it to be "slow" at times...

I also think age can be a factor. I used to love NYC because of its frentic pace, now I am just happy getting a periodic weekend taste of it and quite content when I leave...

Depends on where you live in Korea. I just spent the weekend in Seoul and am now back in the provinces. What a drag. Ha ha. I think a larger NA city will be an upgrade from this. Doh! (Naw, living here is ok. But not as big of a stepdown as from Seoul, though.)
