By the way detective its nice to confirm that you do stalk me on these boards. I figured as much before but now it is plain as day. Yet you are the one talking about me not having a life. If you want detective, I can submit a time sheet for my posting to you. I mean it would help you better stalk me and then gang up with other like-minded posters when you get the chance!

You got it, John. Sometimes your posts come off as a sort of lecture, and I'll ask you once not to do that with me again. What does it matter, since apparently no one who has ever used this site has ever met him anyway, to my overall surprise. I suppose I should use his fake name, but don't worry about him, he'll be back tonight with a smiley faced retort once his wife allows him computer time. Please spare me wasted typing time until then. |

Sort of a lecture coming.
Augustine...I like your posts...full of passion and often a great source of entertainment.
However, Zyzyfer is nothing but aces on this site and was making a legitimate comment.
The veiled threat is unwarranted, as he is not likely to trouble himself again with your apparent lack of online etiquette...no worries.
If you have problems with Zyzyfer...you have problems.
As I don't think this is the case, you may want to rethink your position.
My friendly yet oh so unsolicited and quite likely unwanted advice...carry on and keep the posts coming, but keep in mind that while some posters have it coming and we enjoy the roasts...Zyzyfer is not one of those posters.
Using real names is low...and against the TOS.
Just a fair heads up...no? |

Back to the original topic- thread needs singles links that appeal to the lowest common denominator. Different groupings like "Sloshed n Horny in Itaewon" or Lonely Cold Nights in Gangwon-Do.
I don't want to get dragged too much into the muckraking, but I must say that lately I've noticed a lot more snarkiness from both apologists and bashers, (myself included) more insulting, more likely to use profanity, more belittling and attacking ones lifestyle or speculating about one's personal habits.
On the apologist side, I will say that I agree somewhat, that certain apologist posters, who used to be very strict about not taking things personal, or using profanity, have been a bit lax. If someone were to complain about that as well as them potentially going unpunished for such things, I might support their feelings and perceptions towards such things. Although recently one noted apologist was censured.
However, this thread is not doing the bashers any favors as two well known basher posters have really taken it downhill.
First couple of years you used to have the same things, but when apologists and bashers went after each other, they'd usually tease the person's screen name or avatar in a jocular manner. For example, a poster by the name of Old Gil would often do puns with my name, I'd occasionally tell him to go back to making payments on his hot plate (per the Simpsons character that he is named after). All in good fun.

| I don't have a problem with zyzyfer but I also don't like being lectured about fake online etiquette. It's not like I'm the one who uncovered pattys real name anyway, but I agree with the general principle and I probably would never do that with anyone else. But the blowhard in question, ehh... I don't really care, sorry. I'll call him by his fake name since you dropped that TOS thing on me. Thanks a lot, dude. |

Going after, insulting, attacking or whatever of other posters is a violation of the TOS. It seems I have to leave this message daily, and it is directed at the same people each time. If you cannot handle someone disagreeing with you, then Dave's might not be the place for you!!
The next post made by someone that attacks a poster and does not address the topic of the thread is history.
No more warnings. Go to another site and cry about how you were banned here with no warning.

| The thing is the little privileges mentioned in the OP are actually normal, expected features of modern forums. You'd be paying money for the ability to do what you can do for free on any typical internet forum established in the last 15 years. It would be akin to charging people in Korea to hike a 350 high hill when there are a dozen of others within 20 minutes drive you can walk up for free |
