[quote="chi-chi"]I think Asians in Asia are insane sometimes.

In Korea, they eat dog, and in Japan they eat horse.
Where I live, we keep both as pets, |
When I first came to Korea, my liason teacher assured me that "Koreans do not eat their pets" and a student told me, "dogs are livestock"
What's the difference between eating a dog or cat you've never met, or eating a cute wooly lamb you've never met... |

Just a recap:
Because the dogs are beaten to death in as drawn out a process as possible. I'd eat dog if it was killed quickly. |

I like eating dog, because when I do, I have enough stamina for TONS of hookers. Without the dog soup, I can only go through one or two, but after the bo-shin-tang, I can have sex with, like, FOUR!!!

And you've seen this or do you believe everything you're told. I have been told that most of the dogs eaten in Korea are imported from China. I've seen them in the market.

You've been told wrong.
The dogs used are called ˰ and you can see them in cages on the back of trucks or in cages near the markets where they sell dogs. Apparently some meat from China makes it into Korea but the Chinese share the same belief of Koreans -- it's only healthy if it's full of adrenaline and it only gets full of adrenaline if it's hanged slowly and beaten and the fur blowtorched off while still alive. |

I love Korea and all, but I find the way many of them treat their animals to be sickning.
I saw this baby Baluga whale at an aquarium a few days ago and my heart dropped. There is no way this would happen back home. I believe in respecting another countries culture, especially when you are living there, but that was just plain wrong. |

I agree 100%.
Many pet dogs in Korea would probably be better off as soup. Like the one that the guy said was worth 80 million and it was dognapped and eaten. The owner said that he treated it like his own child and TIED IT UP WITH ROPE IN A PARKING LOT.

| I haven't eaten YET. I want to though. My wonjongnim says he will take me to a good restaraunt with some quality canine. What are the different ways it is served? Other than boshintang. |
