OHIP:
Do I have this right?

To not pay income taxes when I come back to CND (after 1 year) I have to cancel my ohip before I go. But when I come back I don't have ohip for 3 months or so.

To continue having ohip, just don't tell ohip you were away form more than 1 year, don't show them your passport, but then you have to pay cnd taxes?

Any helpful links would be greatly appreciated.

Health insurance:
If employer covers 50% and I cover 50% (NHIP) is this enough for basic general safe health insurance? I know potential stupid question.

F4:
On an f4 visa do I have to legally...
A) do the whole shebang of degree/official transcript to some sort of educational board if I work for a hagwon? Because my transcripts will be delayed a couple weeks and I'm wondering if it's a major issue.
B) if I tutor do I have to do some sort of shebang of degree/official transcript to some sort of educational board for something about a tutor card?

Thanks a bunch!

On the OHIP you are technically right. However, if you declare non-residency than you are don't pay taxes (search on the forum...lot of info here). Technically you have to cancel OHIP to do this. However, there are people who have been here close to 10 years and still have OHIP coverage and are non-residents who don't pay tax. It seems the health office and the tax office do not share a common database.

another thing about the whole f4 process...I need an id # (joomindeng something I can't read bun soemthing) now is this my mom's id# or the hojoo's id#. Also if this is my mom's id# would this be on her hojuk? Because she's claiming she doesn't have one and that it wouldn't be on her hojuk...that when she emigrated from korea they like totally erased her files...i think she's exaggerating a bit.

basically waht i'm asking is, the three things needed (1. bohnjuk, 2. hojoo, 3. id#...joomindeng something or other) are these all clearly on the hojuk? or are they separate files of some sort that we need to obtain. And if so where the heck do we do that? This is so frustrating!

Thank you so much for any help!
