Was talking to a fellow teacher today (no not that one) who was telling her class today about their midterm exam next week. Well the students come back and say "teacher no test next week class trip"
We give all of freshmen midterm and finals at the same time so info doesn't get out and we give a standardized test.
can you believe this place or what? |

yes, higher education seems to be a joke at my school too...
the sad part is how the number of universities have increased and they must now market and compete with other universities for a decreasing pool of students to attend....
this means university adminstrations lower admissions standards and bend over backwards to accomodate students because they don't want to lose them to other universities...
not much different from hogwans if you ask me...

Why don't you make up your own test, in light of the circumstances and stuff the standardized test. |

If you postpone the test then, yes, it is a joke. |
