|

Has anyone made the journey from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to Incheon Airport before? Are the buses regular? Is there a stance within the bus station specifically for the airport bus?
I would appreciate any help/advice on this. I am leaving on Saturday and would really like to have some idea before I do this.
Thanks |

| If you go to Cheonho which is a short taxi ride or bus ride away you can catch a bus straight from there to the airport. |

| There is a deluxe bus that runs from Dong Seoul to the airport. As near as I can tell, it runs about every 25 minutes or so. I don't know if it has a dedicated slot in the terminal. |

Yes there is a regular one from dong seoul (east seoul) terminal to incheon airport. But note, that coming back it stops a few places before it hits east seoul terminal.
Also, ask where the gate is to get on the bus. If you look like a foreigner, than the girl will probably tell you the gate number. Just say "Where?". |

| Dong Seoul is actually a lot easier and faster to get to if you are coming to Seoul from out of town. I used their airport vip bus regularly. Just as reliable - basically the same thing - as the buses that run out of COEX or Central City. |

Well I don't envisage being in Seoul again after this weekend........not for a few years anyway!! I will get the bus to Incheon airport from dong Seoul, I wish I knew where the bus waited, but I guess I am big enough and ugly enough to find that out for myself.
Thanks for the help!!! |

Well, there's no specific stance if that's what you're asking. I guess legs slightly apart for extra balance and slightly bent at the knees for flexibility would be an ideal stance. There are myriad of stances available to the airport bus seeker. I'm sure there are remedial classes but I don't have a link at the moment. Sorry |

The bus leaves from the black circle on my map. It's a busy area with lots of street food stalls, but the airport bus sign is easy to see.
It leaves every 20 minutes, stops at Jamsil, then goes all the way to the airport.
It will be 13,000won, but being a deluxe bus it is more comfortable than the regular ones.
No need to go to Cheonho, that bus is slower (gets stuck in Gangnam traffic) and less comfortable.

It's not a very big bus terminal. The bus has Incheon Airport written on the side - in English - and a sign on the front window that you can easily see from the dock - also in English.
T'aint that hard. |

It's on the east side and easy to read. I think it was somewhere around
23 or 27. |

I don't know what you circled but I got on the bus inside the regular bus terminal lot. Looking at your map it's the leg of bus spaces off the southeast side of the building. |

I just show my ticket to people who look official and they point. |

It may well stop inside the terminal too, but I always catch it from the place I circled. I saw the blue sign there one day and went there the next time I needed to go to the airport.
I last caught the bus from there in August of this year. |
