Whether to enter Korea on a one way or a round trip ticket?
I will be coming to Korea from Taiwan real soon and I'm wondering if i can get in on a oneway ticket? I'll be going there to find a job on a visitor visa.
I know technically I would need a round trip ticket to get in , but has anyone ever gotten in on a one way with just the visitor visa? |

Why are you starting a new thread with the same question you asked before? |

Do you actually have a visa or are you talking about the 30-day visa waiver stamp?
To answer your question AGAIN, you are legally required to have onward or return passage to qualify for the visa waiver.
It is NOT Korean immigration who will ask. IT is the airline who will give you problems. The reason is because if for any reason you are denied entry or questioned about documents by immigration it is the AIRLINE who gets fined AND bears the cost of your repatriation FROM Korea.
They get fined AND they ship you out at their expense.
IF you encounter a problem it will be at the airline checkin counter. If you get there and get checked for onward passage without having the ticket AND can't buy the ticket they will refuse boarding.
Simply be prepared (cash on hand or credit card) to purchase a ticket onward from Korea if necessary. You have about a 50/50 chance of not getting checked for onward passage. They never check if you are in business class.
