Hi everybody,

I've been looking at this website for 2 years now....and this is my first post!!

I once lived in Incheon, but now i'm considering a job in Ansan. It's a bit further out than i wanted but i'm still considering it. My question is....how much would a taxi cost from Hongdae to Ansan?

(I used to pay about 17,000 to 23,000 from Hongdae to Gyeyang Incheon)

I know there's the famous drunk train at 05:30 leaving Hongik subway station, but i just want to know about Taxi prices for those nights when you want to come home relatively early.

[Also, is there a particular Bus that goes from Hongdae to Ansan?]

it depends on the time of the day and depends if the driver charges a flat fee or turn on the meter.
Last time I took a cab from gangnam station to ansan at 3am and it cost me 30,000

We generally pay about 40 000-45 000 from Itaewon to Handaeup. I think we go through a few toll gates, which the driver pays. This is flat rate, no meter. There is almost no traffic from Ansan to Seoul at that time of night, so the driver isn't getting a fare for his trip back to Seoul...some drivers are not interested in making the trip, but the ones that will fall into the price range above.

Sleeping on the floor of a jimjilbang would be a better option, no? I once got charged 30k Sincheon to Incheon to catch an early football game. I imagine you'd be looking at something similar to Ansan.
