So most if not all the high schools in the states I've been in have had a decent amount of weight lifting equipment for gym classes and sports teams. Do Korean public schools have them also? I remember seeing a bunch of my teachers in the early morning in the weight rooms before classes start and realize that I would like to follow that route when I take a teaching job in Korea if possible. |

I am teaching at a boys high school at the moment and there is a very small weight room on the first floor for the teachers. It has all the basic weights and three running machines. I have no idea if other high schools have weight rooms for either students or teachers.
If you want to weight train then just join a gym when you get here. If you end up in Seoul or any decent sized place then you will have a gym close to your house or work. There really are many of them around and they are all reasonably cheap. |
