It does at mine.
I mean, here I am with two hours and twenty minutes between classes and I've spent most of it browsing useless information on the web just because it is right here at my desk in front of me.
If I didn't have it, I'd do more prep and making activites etc.
It was the same when I worked at offices in London, I'd spend lots of time emailing and browsing when my bosses weren;t looking and had calls from HR often about abusing my internet privalages.
Yes, I know I'm the lazy one with no will power or drive and it's not the internet's fault per se, but like I said - if it wasn't there - I wouldn't use it.
Just think about how many hours of office time are likewise wasted around the globe daily..! Hours of business time spent on emailing, chatting, brwsing, facebooking, online games and forums etc.
It must be an international pandemic! |

| Productivity is increased on the macro scale, according to a report I read recently, anyway. Important things get done more quickly and efficiently. |

But, I do get lots, LOTS, of info for work from the web.

| It certainly does, and it's doing just that right now...to pretty much my whole office. It's like crack, for those of us who've had the pleasure... |
